Convenient access to Teramachi Street. The facilities were superb, and the public bath was an incredible way to relax after a long day of walking. We really enjoyed the Japanese style rooms that were offered. It was also convenient to have a bath in the toilet that we could use if we didn't want to use the public bath. The staff were also very helpful, particularly with helping us to forward our luggage to our next hotel in Osaka.

Location was optimal, despite it not being close to the main Shinkansen Station (Kyoto Station), it's within walkable distance to the Kyoto-Kawaramachi which is where the Osaka to Kyoto Garden Train left us. Within walkable distance to restaurants and shops, the Nishiki Market just a couple of streets away. Near the Kyoto Imperial Palace which is worthwhile seeing as well. The hotel is fabulous, it has its own onsen, they hire traditional performers to come and do shows in the lobby on certain days, well stocked bar and really helpful staff. Would definitely stay on again

Resol Trinity Kyoto is only two blocks away from the Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae subway Station and Teramachi shopping area that connects to the Nishiki shopping area. It is also a 15-20 minute walk to the Gion neighborhood. We found cabs to be a quick and easy way to get around town as our legs were pretty tired, and we felt the cab fares were very reasonable. The staff were very use to accepting shipped luggage and they kept it in the check in area, but it wasn't taken to our room. The front desk staff were helpful in answering our questions. They do have a public bath which was a nice way to end the evening. The rooms are typical Japan hotel sized and I'll be honest it was quite cramped. We had little room for our carry on sized bags, both to open them and to store them. However, I would say again this was common for what we saw for Japanese hotels, so I would just consider this an normal expectation. The room and hotel was very clean. They breakfast was around 2100 yen and they had Western and Eastern offerings. We would stay here again.

We loved the ambiance, art, and overall vibe of the property. All of the staff were really accommodating and friendly. The public baths were amazing and much needed after walking all day. There were ample amenities provided like toothbrushes, combs, and face lotion. It was conveniently located in central Kyoto, so we could walk to many shops or take a short train ride/taxi. We appreciated that they had breakfast for purchase as most places in Japan don’t open until at least 10am.

Rooms were tidy and beautifully laid out. I liked the reduced cleaning days in order to reduce impact on environment. I think that the daily towel changing could also be reduced to cleaning days only, perhaps having a system of guests requesting towels between cleaning days whenever required. But keep the daily supplies of tea, coffee and water. Super to have the Onsen. A wonderful breakfast variety. Great to have a laundromat of two different floors. Great to have a microwave on the 6th floor. So useful to borrow the luggage weighing equipment from reception. Overall a very comfortable Japanese Zen style hotel :)

Really good location. Walking distance to lots of good spots, and close to the trains, so easy to do day trips. The view was nice from our room on the 8th floor. We used the laundry facilities which were good, and there were enough hangers in the room to make it easier to dry the clothes we couldn't put in the drier.

If you hang the DO NOT DISTURB sign outside your door, they leave an organized housekeeping bag on the door handle with fresh towels, water bottles and all the amenities. Excellent service!

Out of the 4 hotels we stayed in Japan this one was my favourite. The vibe and aesthetic was Japan. There is a cafe area at the front of the hotel. Once you enter hotel there is dining and a bar and a small lobby. Of an evening the hotel offers entertainment like ninja presentation, maiko etc which is free of charge. There is also a large water feature/pond that is surrounded by tables and chairs that provides quite time. The hotel also has male/female baths. The rooms are traditionally furnished but modern. The hallways are dimly lit to continue the vibe of the hotel. There is a laundry that is coin operated. The hotel also does a morning rooftop view of the city but that’s capped at 30 people . The hotel offers luggage forwarding .The hotel is close to Nishiki market
